Kathleen Pfaff enjoys blending the casual elegance of the wine country lifestyle with classic design sensibilities.  Kathleen has integrated natural elements of timeless appeal creating an effortless yet dynamic quality in both commercial and residential settings in California and throughout the United States.

Kathleen has worked extensively with notable Napa and Sonoma wineries including Charles Krug, Jackson Family Wines (Kendall-Jackson), Cardinale, V12 Vineyards, Reynolds Family Winery, Dakota Shy Winery and Ellman Family Vineyards and wine bars including John Anthony Wine Bar, Dick Vermeil Wine Bar and Partake. During her twenty-year tenure in interior design, Kathleen has completed numerous other corporate and residential projects in Napa, Sonoma, Lake Tahoe, Marin and Santa Barbara Counties and in San Francisco, Dallas and Chicago. Most recently, she completed an extensive re-design of the national headquarters of The Doctors Company, including the reception lobby, hallways, kitchen, dining room and executive offices. She is often consulted by builders and homeowners for home staging prior to resale. Kathleen is a 20-year resident of Napa and formerly co-owned and managed West End Napa, a home furnishing, gift and interior design retail store located in downtown Napa.  

Kathleen collaborates with international artisans to produce her designs and especially enjoys working with local artists and craftspeople to design and fabricate distinctive decorative elements such as grapevine wall art, olive tree tables, hide stools and other custom art and furnishings that have been the focal point for her show houses including Kitchens in the Vineyards in 2011 and the Traditional Home Showhouses in Napa Valley in 2012, 2013 and 2014.  Her work has been featured in Traditional Home magazine and Napa Valley Life.

Kathleen takes personal pride in listening to clients’ goals and opinions, helping them better define their unique style and working with them to create beautiful and functional spaces that will enrich their lives. Her services are available at a rate of $175 per hour, reflecting her extensive expertise, attention to detail, and dedication to delivering exceptional results.
